Rainbow Rocket News 10/1/26
Dear Mulberry,
One little fly was hovering in the sky under the oak and pine trees. Cousin fly’s wings whirred so fast they were a blur. Soon we saw another fly, and another, and another. There were six cousin flies, wings whirring.
They seemed to teleport a few inches down or up or to the left or right or up and to the left. Sometimes when they teleported, they would teleport on top of another cousin fly who would then teleport somewhere else.
While we were watching the flies, a squirrel scurried overhead. It was Fat Gus. He was upside down on the branch and then upside right heading from branch to branch and then leaping to the roof of the school.
Another squirrel appeared, Squirrel, a mama squirrel. She came down to a lower branch to join our conversation when we said hello. She ate a nut and listened. Then Squirrel followed Fat Gus through the branches and onto the roof of the school.
Love,
Teacher Michelle
