Dear Oak,
One of you painted a picture. I think you used every color. It was drying on a tray when someone else came to use the scissors. They were going to cut the picture. I wasn’t sure if the person who painted it was done with the picture, so I stopped them. I asked the painter if they wanted me to hang the picture up to dry, and they did.
Phew! I’m so glad that the picture wasn’t cut up. The cutter thought that they might like to paint too, and now there was a blank sheet of paper on the tray. They painted, and another person had begun painting too. The second painter now walked away from their painting, and the third painter started to add their own ideas to the second painter’s picture.
They stopped. They did not paint on the second painter’s picture. They turned and continued working on their own. They were taking care of the second painter’s work since they weren’t there to ask if it was okay.
Love,
Teacher Michelle
