Rainbow Rocket News 10/15/26
Dear Mulberry,
I wonder if you met Little Bear today. Little Bear hugged trees and even gave Grandmother Oak a kiss. Little Bear danced and balanced. Little Bear said that you had to hold your arms out to balance. When Little Bear fell, she laughed.
Little Bear climbed up high high. I wondered if Little Bear was scared to climb so high. She laughed, “No.” She sat at the top of the very fastest slide. At the bottom of the slide, Goosie and Ducky giggled and sprawled. They used their beaks to toss wood chips on the slide.
Little Bear wanted to slide down, but she didn’t want to slide into the wood chips. She didn’t want to boom into Goosie and Ducky. She sat and waited, but Goosie and Ducky kept giggling and sprawling and tossing wood chips.
Finally, Mr. Grownup showed up. He asked Little Bear if she wanted to slide down. Little Bear said, “Yes, please.” Mr. Grownup asked Little Bear if she wanted wood chips on the slide. Little Bear said, “No, thank you.” Goosie and Ducky hadn’t known what Little Bear wanted.
They stopped tossing wood chips. They stood up at the bottom of the slide. Down slid Little Bear fast, fast, fast. She slid right into Goosie and Ducky, but they were ready for her. And all three laughed.
Love,
Teacher Michelle
