Rainbow Rocket News 10/26/26

Dear Oak,

You said, “I want to sit up there.” I wondered aloud about whether you would be able to climb up. You asked if I would put you up there. I said no. You went to go get the block. You stood on the block and hooked your foot across the bar. You couldn’t quite make it up to sit.

You went over to the big brown chair in the reading area. I think you thought it was too big. Anyway, you didn’t drag it over, but you came back. And we watched the spinners spin and time passed.

You left again. This time you went as far as you could go. You looked at a blue chair. Nope. You saw the grey and white chair. That will work. You brought it all the way from the farthest corner over to the swingset. You climbed on it.

And there you were sitting up there, sitting on the crossbar of the swing. I sat on the other side, and we watched the spinners spin.
